Pi Hat Controller Kit
This pixel controller kit is a great way to get started in getting your pixels to dance to music.
Recommended to have basic FPP knowledge. This kit is meant as a beginner kit to get you started in the world of pixels.
This kit includes everything you need to get a quick light setup going. It has an SD card with FPP preloaded. This also includes sequences and a schedule for all of 2022. When you plug in the kit it takes about 5 steps to get it connected to your network and synced to your location and time. After that this complete setup will run lighting sequences that change for the holiday from Sunset to Sunrise. You can run a few floods off of this as landscape lighting. Once you get your show setup you can push it over to be a remote controller for your Master FPP. The Falcon Christmas Forums are a great resource for learning everything about Falcon Pi Player. If you'd like to help out the Falcon Developers you can donate Here. You can sequence your own sequences by using the xLights Software.

Raspberry Pi Zero WH
What is the Raspberry Pi Zero WH?
With all of the features we know and love of Raspberry Pi Zero W; the new Raspberry Pi Zero WH is the same board that also includes professionally 40 PIN soldered headers. The difference between this edition and the current Pi Zero W is its pre-soldered GPIO header. This makes it much easier to start prototyping with a Pi Zero board, because you no longer need to solder pins to the header manually. It's perfect for everyone who doesn't own a soldering iron or who wants the soldering legwork done for them.
There are many instances where you do want a header on your Zero W, for example in order to easily take advantage of the GPIO expander tool for Debian Stretch on a PC or Mac.
Using the GPIO expander with the Raspberry Pi Zero WH decreases the setup cost for anyone interested in trying out physical computing in the classroom or at home.
Raspberry Pi Zero WH Features:
Mini-H-D-M-I port (1080p60 video output)
1GHz ARM11 single-core processor
40PIN pre-soldered GPIO headers
Composite video and reset headers
CSI camera connector
Added wireless connectivity
802.11b/g/n wireless LAM
Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
Micro-USB OTG port
Micro USB power
Micro SD card slot
Dimension: 65mm x 30mm x 11.6mm
Pi Hat Controller
Raspberry Pi Pixel HAT Controller Dual Output 5v - 12v
Run over 1000 pixels using FPP as standalone or networked with other pixel controllers but with a very small size?
This add on feature enhances the power of the Raspberry Pi Zero and Zero W to allow you to run FPP or other pixel controller software of your choice all in one tiny little controller. Using xLights or other software, you can link via LAN or Wireless to sync you sequenced pixels or servos to you show. You can have the power of running as a stand-alone controller with Web Interface accessibility. Using FPP, and this Raspberry Pi add on allows you to remotely access and upload you sequences from xLights, control the schedule of your shows, control your pixels directly or even have them sync together with your entire show.
Under channel output, select Pi Pixel settings. Add 2 RPIWS281X outputs. These are for the dual pixel outputs on the pixel pi hat.
Port one is next to the power supply coming in and port 2 is the one on the side.
Want to make you vehicle be dazzled with lights or do a mobile show? You can run and have more than one of these to each control large amounts of pixels or servos for your show.
Each add on to your Raspberry has two outputs, both with Positive, Ground, and Data outputs and with the Raspberry Pi Zero you have two MicroUSB inputs. No need to power your Raspberry pi directly, you can power direct into this add on.
With a dedicated data level amp, you will know you will have the power to light up your pixels with ease. Each output allows you to control over 512 pixels giving you 1024 pixels at a full 40 FPS.
Just what I needed to get started with Pixel Bullets
The Pi Hat Controller Kit was exactly what I needed to get me up and running quickly using Pixel Bullets. The Pi Hat is nicely packaged and mated to the size of the included Raspberry Pi Zero. The screw down connectors made hooking this up to the power and pixels simple. The pre-installed software saved me a bit of time. Perfect. I could have done this all myself but not in this nice little package.
Great controller, just make sure you know how to use it and make sure you learn all you can. Great company with helping troubleshoot things
It was a pleasure to have the kind of service provided by Wally's! Today's shipping, product availability, and service has been a throwback to the dark ages. I ordered, had an acknowledgement, and shipping notice all in the same day - then to top it off, I it arrived the very next day. Very, very pleased and recommend Wally's - thanks for a breath of fresh air!
